The hotel is an architectural monument. It's a very beautiful building. There is a parking lot. We took a room with a terrace overlooking the bay. Unusual, as the room on the ground floor and in front of the windows are walking people. But we used to it. It wasn't stressful. The terrace overlooks the promenade. The room is comfortable and has everything you need.
Since the building's old, there's no point in picking on it. Note a number of points that did not darken the stay: the name of the hotel from the road is not visible, so the first time you drove past the hotel, if you specify the name of the hotel in the navigator, the navigator leads to another building that is not close (apparently it is a legal address), so it's better to specify the address of the hotel, shower issues, but these are trifles. In other words, I liked the hotel.

The suite was spacious and filled with natural light, offering beautiful harbor views from the balcony, made our mornings extra special.
The air conditioning in our suite was not effective, made our stay uncomfortably warm during the last two nights.

best thing about the hotel is its location and views and tranquility. common areas are very well decorated and seem warm and modern. It has been a long time since I saw a hotel with so many amenities, hairdryer with a plug and hangers that are easy to move around and not to get stuck. you arrive you have some welcome chocolates and a water bottle with glasses. I would like to emphasize the friendliness of the staff. food in the restaurant/bar is good but a bit expensive for my taste. Also, it was a bit cool because there was air coming in. point out that they have lactose-free milk, is to be welcomed. Recommended to go in pairs but not with children. better to ask for a room with shower.
First of all, I was struck by the fact that there was no access for the disabled and therefore, if you carry a heavy suitcase, you will have to carry it. Regarding the rooms there was quite a contrast, some have much more space and more windows (and luminosity) but others are more uncomfortable and it is very hot when you enter. I have the feeling that the air conditioning is cut off in winter and in some cases you can't open the windows to ventilate, which can be overwhelming. Rooms with bathrooms are uncomfortable and mission impossible if you want a child to take a shower. The bathroom in the rooms is a bit old fashioned, the colour black and white doesn't seem elegant to me when it's worn out, on the contrary, it gives me the feeling that it serves to keep the dirt from standing out. The shower screen is uncomfortable to access and yet the water ends up coming out and falling to the floor. The faucet system is not easy to understand and I did not see any sticker with explanation. What I can't imagine is how they clean the bathroom, if or when they have to go in and therefore step on it. The breakfast buffet is not bad. Two examples from the cafeteria caught my attention so you can see the contrast: At dinner, when you ask for chips, they bring you a plate with 3 cups of ketchup, mustard and mayonnaise with spoons (5-star service). At breakfast, when you ask for tomato sticks, they bring you tomato sticks and something soft because they have absorbed the tomato and no oil (2-star service) and every day the sticks were a different size. I think they would have no problem bringing the toast and a bolecito with the tomato on the side.

The location on the Embarcadero and the view overlooking the harbor and yacht basins are just outstanding. Customer service is on the order of what Louis XIV enjoyed. The rooms are tasteful, comfortable, and quiet. The restaurant is absolutely first-rate. When my sister visits me during the winter I'm going to reserve her a room here and treat her to the best hotel she's ever stayed in.
My laptop was unable to connect to the internet in my room. This seemed to be a problem in only one room: when we stayed in a different room three months ago I had no difficulty at all. The management bent over backwards to resolve the problem, eventually lending me a hotel laptop to work from.

The room I had was quite small and felt a bit cramped! Noise from outside sometimes disrupted my relaxation.

Nice hotel bad experience with location , also had evening meal in restaurant , they never spoke any English and we didn't get what we ordered also the waiter bought a bottle of wine to our table that we ordered and it had already been opened and it taisted like vinager .
It' says 1.6 kilometres to Brittany ferry port true if you can swim but if your in a car it doesn't tell you it's a 16 mile round trip to get back over the estuary , major panic on departure to ferry port . If you order a bottle of 50euro red wine have the decency to open it in front of them . Also didn't get the food we ordered !!!!
